NJIT is now preparing for our re-accreditation in the spring of 2022 by conducting a comprehensive self-study that brings together the entire community in an honest self-assessment through which we identify our strengths and opportunities for improvement. New Jersey Institute of Technology is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), being granted initial accreditation in 1934. Credit goes to the individuals listed below and to the entire university community. The MSCHE Visiting Team commended NJIT's actions in support of the Commission's Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation and provided only one recommendation regarding assessment of the university's General Education Requirements. UPDATE: New Jersey Institute of Technology successfully completed the 2022 self-study and is reaccredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) until 2030.
